We express our gratitude for the opportunity extended by Fr. Johan Wongso, SS.CC. of the Blessed Sacrament Church to procure a new Corpus Christi for the church's newly renovated space.
After thorough deliberation on various designs, Fr. Johan settled on the exquisite "Christo del Tacca" corpus, imported from Italy. This statue intricately depicts the poignant details of Jesus, including the delicate folds in His garment, the visible wounds, and a facial expression wrought with both pain and agony.
The statue, adorned with a placard bearing the inscription INRI, is majestically showcased on the wall behind the main altar. Its brilliant white hue creates a striking contrast against the red cross, accentuating the modern yet classic style of the church's interior.
