Myrrh is a reddish-brown dried sap from a thorny tree — Commiphora myrrha, the same botanical family like frakincense and commonly grow on the Arabian Peninsula, in India, and in northeastern Africa.
 
One of the oldest kind of incense and in exactly the same form as used by the three wise men two thousand years ago. The smoky fragrance produced by burning myrrh smells like rose or even sweet basil make it quite unique and amazingly evocative.
 
Why not synthetic incense ?

How to choose natural incense ?
A common way to distinguish chemical-based incense from natural incense is its color. Color of chemical-based incense is usually more bright while natural incense has softer color of earthly elements.
